Digital Immagrant, and loving it!

So I was born in the mid Seventies when technology started taking a turn in the direction it's led to today. I do remember Atari, blowing out Nintendo cartridges and having seizures playing "Sonic the Hedgehog". Technology didn't play a huge role in my life until I joined the Army and was in school for my job training, a combat photographer/ videographer. The Army figured that looking through the lens was the same regardless of the output mode. Good for me, it's really broadened my horizons.

While in school I didn't even know how to launch Photoshop to fix my under/ over exposed pictures. It was really embarrassing having 18 year old "kids" help me do such a simple thing as double clicking. It really took off from there. I fell in love with Photoshop. I remember a colleague having to do some major work on a picture of the Group commander. We couldn't figure out how to fix it. That night I had a dream, an epiphany if you will, on how to fix it, and it worked. Since I've left the military I've earned a degree in graphic design and am well on my way to a degree in digital video production. The Tech- Autobiograhy will be put together in web format with all images and code created by me.

I'm currently employed as a production assistant shooting and editing video. Learning design software has really helped in my video career. The graphics in my projects are all created by me, which means no waiting on designers. I'm still doing photography, weddings and other events but mostly personal stuff. I've taken a liking to portrait photography mixed with Photoshop "beautification".
